5 Awesome UX Discords Servers To Join

Discord has been around for a while now and as such UX spaces are starting to pop up on there. Because of that, I want to list some good places on Discord you can join. I’ve listed the following 5 communities below because they have a lot of resources within them you can check out.

Detaux

This server has channels for memes, ui challenges, ux challenges, tweets, articles, videos, etc.

Design Buddies

The Design Buddies Discord server gives you access to but is not limited to the Design buddies blog, newsletter, their events, their website, and all their social media handles.

Design Squad:UX community

This server is headed by the author of Get Into UX, Vy ALechnavicius. Design Squad:UX community is the most robust on this list as far as resources are concerned. They have channels for things like design challenges, job openings, UX psychology, and a book club. There is a lot to explore on this discord.

IterateUX

IterateUX has channels to help you with interviewing, crafting a resume, portfolio feedback, and other things.

Unofficial Figma Community

Unofficial might be in the title, but don’t let that scare you. In this server you can find channels for prototyping help, updates in figma, feedback, and more. Something that I really like about these discord servers is that none of these servers is the exact same. Anyways, normally, I put links for the resources I list in my articles, but today I can’t because currently links to communities on Discord only last for a week and then there gone. However, All these communities can be found by just typing these names in the search bar on Discord after you click the Explore public servers button on the left hand side of the screen.
