Do You Need Help With Your Resume? Look No Further.



Is your resume in need of a shape-up? A lot of designers think that their design portfolio can do all the talking for them. This is not the case. As a designer it’s important to know how to talk about the experience you have, and the resume is one way to do that. Here are 10 websites you can look at to give your resume the boost that it needs.

  1. Resume-now — Resume-now has on blog section on things that you should know about resumes. They also have a resume builder section to help you come up with a resume that’s right for you.

  2. VisualCV — offers a range of CV and resume templates, designed by professionals.

  3. Canva — The well-known website on this list. To find the resume templates, go to the recommended section then click the arrow on the right until you reach the resume section. From there you can customize your resume to your liking.

  4. My Perfect Resume — My Perfect Resume offers a wide variety of resume templates, as well as the option to create your own from scratch.

  5. Resume Worded — Resume Worded allows you to have feedback on your resume and tailor your resume to your desired job.

  6. Resume.io — At Resume.io you can choose from four different categories of templates which include modern, professional, simple, and creative. Pick which template suits you the most.

  7. Enhancv.com — This website offers three different payment plans — pro semi-annual at $10.99, pro quarterly at $14.99 and pro monthly at $19.99. One of the things that Enhancv.com does is they list words and phrases that people should list on their resume based on the field that you are in. These words and phrases are listed under the tab labeled “Resume Skills.”

  8. Resume Lab — This website can help you craft a resume in many ways. Go to the Resume section, click on it and underneath it you will give a list of subsections which include resume builder, resume templates, resume examples, resume format, how to write a resume, and resume help.

  9. Creative Market — Creative Market says they have over 10,000 resume templates to choose from. Some are pricier than others so do your research.

  10. Resume Genius — Resume Genius features articles on writing resumes, and lots of templates to help you build a resume so have fun.
